Sandcastle Building

Explore the beauty of the beach while you create your team’s work of art- your one-of-a kind team sand castle. Learn to build sand castles in teams and you'll be surprised at how you can do that like professional sand sculptors!

Participants will be given a short lesson on sand castle building and they will be shown how to use the different tools that are provided. Facilitators shall demonstrate how to build towers, walls and arches and combine these structures into other shapes; and carve detail using simple tools.

The team will then design a tower and work together to build the castle based on their designs. Building sand castles requires planning, resourcefulness, persistence, unity and teamwork. By doing this, participants will also learn to work with one another as they try to improve on their castles and repair damages done. They will also learn about the different skills of one another and how to best mange the team.

By providing an outdoor simulation experience that reflects corporate challenges and conditions, participants will spend 3-4 hours of scenario planning, design, construct and selling of sandcastle project. Upon completion, it will be followed by 1 hour of debriefing by integrating lessons learned to workplace scenarios.
